ЕМ-11. Perception of the common history of the XX cent. by FSU population. Presentation of the results of the study.

Eurasian Monitor Agency has finished its 11-th series of comparative public opinion studies that took place in 14 post-Soviet countries. The major topic of the project was: “Public perception of Soviet and post-Soviet period of history in the NIS (with special emphasis to youth)”. First presentation of study results were held June 9-10th, 2009 in Almaty (Kazakhstan) in the framework of the International conference “The role of historical-cultural heritage in the dialogue of civilizations” and special conference for journalists. Scientists from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russian Federation, Tadjikistan and Uzbekistan took part in the study.

In the course of the following weeks presentations and discussions were held in Yerevan (Armenia), Kyiv (Ukraine), Kharkiv (Ukraine) and Moscow (RF) with participation of colleagues from Armenia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Russia, Ukraine.
