The Eurasian Monitor Agency started presenting the results of Wave 9 public opinion comparative studies that took place in several countries of the former USSR. The main topic of Wave 9 is called “The mutual interests of CIS countries` citizens as a foundation to humanitarian integration: what brings us together and what we are interesting for”. The study was supported by the Intergovernmental Fund for Humanitarian Collaboration. The opinion poll was conducted based upon representative samples in 13 FSU (Baltic States and CIS) countries. The first presentations of the project were held on June 23 in Almaty (Kazakhstan) and June 26 in Kyiv (Ukraine). Here are some extracts from the preliminary studies (see here).
Besides that, the regular monitoring of the basic parameters of social moods in CIS countries was also carried out within the EM-9 framework (see results here)
