Main characteristics of the research

The basis of the “Eurasian monitor” project is a regular (every six month) synchronized questioning of the post-Soviet countries’ citizens according to a single questionnaire. Questionings in every country are held according to the national representative selection (1100-2000 respondents). Single form of the questioning consists of two parts:

  • constant (monitoring) part, which includes questions about social moods and urgent problems, attitude to different branches of state’s power, and of course questions about integration attitude – 10 questions;
  • variable (subject) part, which includes questions on one single topic, changing from one questioning to another (for example, cultural connections, political and pre-election orientations of people) – 20-25 questions.
